Application for Acceptance as a FETRP Sanctuary Resident

Dear Applicant,

Please complete this form to the best of your ability.

FETRP is entirely dependent upon donations. Our ability to accept new horses as sanctuary residents is dependent on our current herd size and the generosity of our donors. The result is that your horse may be placed on a waiting list. Acceptance will be based on when the application is received to secure your spot on the list.

Criteria for retirement to the FETRP:

  1. Jockey Club registration

  2. Must have a race record

  3. Pasture sound

  4. No stallions (mares and geldings only)

Protocol for retirement to the FETRP:

  1. The applicant has agreed to one of the Financial Expectations of this application (see below).

  2. Owners are responsible for transporting horses to the nearest available FETRP facility.

  3. Owner discloses all applicable medical and behavioral information regarding the horse so we may provide the best care and location within the FETRP facilities.

  4. FETRP will maintain a waiting list based on available space, and sustainable funding.

Acceptance to FETRP means a lifetime commitment.

We look forward to receiving your completed application.

Very yours truly,
