• Leading & Ground Manners - Bull leads well in a plain halter and lead rope. He follows our staff around like a puppy!
• Grooming & Tacking - Bull is simple in every way. He stands well for grooming and tacking. Bull enjoys being pampered.
• Horse Care - Bull wears front shoes with pads while he grows his sole depth. He eats our normal grain ration of senior feed and currently lives outside 24/7 with other gentle geldings. He is easily pushed around. He is a perfect gentleman with stalling and really enjoys sitting in front of the fan on hot days.
• Riding - Bull has been hacked around the farm and ridden in the grass ring. He is a simple ride and a brave boy. Bull needs practice turning rather than simply following the rail. He has lovely gaits and is eager to please.
• General Demeanor - The "good boy gelding" stereotype comes from horses like Bull; he's just a good kid! We've enjoyed working with him and think he will be an easy transition into a new home.
• Physical Capability - Bull is ready to pursue a moderate-impact second career that can include jumps 3' and under. He has rehabbed from minor bone bruising and arthritis in the ankle, and as always, veterinary records are available to interested and approved adopters.
